Binance’s second act begins now.
The biggest world crypto change and its chief govt and co-founder, Changpeng Zhao, pleaded responsible final week to ignoring anti-money-laundering guidelines whereas serving U.S. clients. Binance agreed to pay over $4 billion in fines and consented to have a government-approved monitor oversee the agency’s actions. Zhao, who may face jail time, stepped down as CEO.
