DENVER (KDVR) — Crews from a number of companies responded to a grass fireplace in Park County on Saturday afternoon.
The hearth was first reported at 12:47 p.m., based on the Pike and San Isabel Nationwide Forests fireplace data web page.
Burning 5 miles southeast of Jefferson in South Park, the hearth is reported to be 10 acres and it is unclear if there may be any containment.
No constructions are threatened and there are not any evacuations or highway closures. The reason for the hearth is unknown.
