Name them "zombie" colleges. A major however unknown variety of public colleges throughout the U.S., notably in huge cities, have misplaced so many college students within the final half-decade that lots of their lecture rooms sit empty. Gone is the loud clatter of scholars bursting by crowded hallways and slamming lockers.
