DENVER (KDVR) — A 52-year-old man died Thursday at Breckenridge Ski Resort, the resort confirmed Monday.
The person has not been recognized however the resort shared he was a 52-year-old from Miami.
In line with the resort, an “incident” occurred on an intermediate path on Peak 8. He was transported by ski patrol to the Peak 8 First Assist Room and after additional emergency care and analysis, the person was pronounced lifeless.
“Breckenridge Ski Resort, Ski Patrol and your complete Vail Resorts household lengthen our deepest sympathy and help to our visitor’s household and pals,” stated Jon Copeland, vice chairman and chief working officer at Breckenridge Ski Resort, in a launch.
A skier died final week after colliding with a tree in Aspen, and a snowboarder from Ophir died the week earlier than after being caught in an avalanche in San Miguel County.
