FLORISSANT, Colo. (KXRM) — Florissant Fossil Beds Nationwide Monument mentioned beginning on Monday, Feb. 24 the nationwide monument can be closed for 2 days per week.
Florissant Fossil Beds mentioned the closure is a results of low staffing. The Monument can be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays indefinitely.

The monument stays open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday by way of Sunday.
