JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on C-470 Saturday morning.
It occurred round 6:30 a.m. on the westbound lanes close to Golden in Jefferson County.
Troopers stated the 52-year-old Arizona resident was crossing the freeway for an unknown motive when she was struck by a driver in a Chevy Suburban.
The lady was pronounced lifeless on the scene. The driving force of the Suburban remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, based on the CSP.
The westbound lanes had been closed for a number of hours after the crash.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Workplace will launch the id of the sufferer at a later time.
