BOULDER, Colo. (AP) Invoice McCartney, who coached Colorado to its solely soccer nationwide championship in 1990, has died. He was 84.
McCartney died “after a brave journey with dementia,” in response to a household assertion. His household introduced in 2016 that he had been identified with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
McCartney stays the winningest coach in Colorado historical past, with a report of 93-55-5. He was inducted into the School Soccer Corridor of Fame in 2013.
