DENVER – Joe Parker will step down as athletic director for the CSU Rams, college officers introduced Monday.
“During the last 12 months, I’ve hung out assessing and evaluating our athletics program, and navigating the quickly altering panorama would require a brand new fashion of management. Joe and I’ve agreed that he shall be entering into one other function,” CSU President Amy Parsons stated in an announcement asserting the change in management.
Parker, who joined CSU in 2015 and led the Rams to victory at 24 Mountain West Convention championships, will develop into a particular advisor to the president of the college.
CSU alum John Weber, who till lately was the manager director of The Inexperienced and Gold Guard, CSU’s NIL (Title-Picture-Likeness) collective, will function interim director of athletics, college officers stated.
