DENVER (KDVR) — It’s official, Spirit Airways will stop operations out of Denver Worldwide Airport with its final flight on Tuesday.
In response to DIA’s web site, the last Spirit flight to reach on the airport might be coming from Miami. The ultimate flight will arrive at 9:43 a.m. on Tuesday.
The final departing Spirit flight is at 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 8, and it’s headed to Fort Lauderdale Worldwide Airport.
Spirit cites ‘engine availability’ in Denver choice
In November, the ultra-low-cost airline introduced that it will now not be offering flights in or out of Denver. This isn’t the primary time the airline discontinued its flights, it occurred in 2004 and was revived in 2012.
