Charles Kesler’s indictment of the conflicting components in Nationwide Conservatism-between faith and secular rationalism; custom and Constitutionalism; nationalism within the sense of "shared inheritance because the essence of shared id and customary will" and America’s "distinctive" nationalism-is so compelling as to make any try at refutation pointless. I plead responsible on all counts, however with extenuating circumstances. I signed the Nationwide Conservatism manifesto in full consciousness of its inconsistencies, and would accomplish that once more at this time.
