DENVER — The Denver Rescue Mission is looking for 2,000 frozen turkey donations to distribute to households and people going through starvation and homelessness, and has opened two new drop-off areas.
Denver Rescue Mission has been accumulating turkeys since Nov. 1, and at present has 13,000 by direct donations or donor monetary presents.
The 501(c)3 nonprofit introduced on Thursday that donors can drop-off frozen turkeys at two new areas this yr:
Annually, Denver Rescue Mission works to gather 15,000 turkeys for its annual Turkey Drive to assist folks in want. Along with making meals for its friends, volunteers additionally distribute 3,000 “Thanksgiving Banquets-in-a-Field.”
