The flags will probably be lowered in recognition of former first woman Rosalynn Carter, spouse of former President Jimmy Carter, who died on Sunday afternoon at age 96.
In honor of the primary woman, President Joe Biden ordered flags to be lowered in any respect federal authorities buildings for 5 days.
Following his orders, Gov. Jared Polis introduced all public constructing flags to be lowered on Saturday, Nov. 25 till sundown of Carter’s funeral which is on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
