COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A wildfire burning close to the Air Power Academy in El Paso County Sunday has prompted requires help from neighboring fireplace businesses.
The Colorado Springs Fireplace Division reported on social media that it’s aiding the Air Power Academy Fireplace & Emergency Providers in battling the flames amid gusty winds.
The hearth is burning within the southwest space of the academy’s property, north of the Pine Housing space. Acreage estimates weren’t instantly obtainable.
There are not any stories of evacuations or buildings threatened at the moment.
A crimson flag warning is in place till 6 p.m. Sunday alongside the Entrance Vary for dry and windy situations.
